Madonna is turning up the hip-hop and losing the techno/dance vibe for her new album, "Hard Candy" which drops on the 29th of April. It will also be her last album on Warner Bros. Records (home of Paris Hilton and Linkin Park) so maybe that's why she's trying something so dramatically different?

I love her music, really I do, but this screams of bandwagon hopping. Timbaland is a great producer but he's becoming fairly predictable as of late with the singles I hear. When he produces on album-only cuts, it's a lot more refreshing. The beat isn't even that captivating, either. It's straight, but for Pete's sake this is Madonna we're talking about. Going from William Orbit's electronica masterpieces (Think "Frozen" from 1998) to this is a big jump down lol.

And Justin... what the hell? He looks like a damned lost orphan with that hair style! At the end of the day though, the song is still catchy despite it's flaws. I'll hold out my final judgement of it until I hear the rest of "Hard Candy," which features more urban production from Pharrell and Danja.

This is either gonna rock my socks or totally flop lol. We'll see in my review.
