The performance at the 51st annual event was promptly canceled after Brown, 19, went totally ape shit bannanas on Rihanna. Hmph, I guess he finally listened to her album after all this time?

The LAPD responded to a 911 call a little after midnight Sunday morning after the two's argument esclated and found a fucked up Rihanna, but no Chris -- who bitched out and ghosted. The jackass later surrendered himself to authorities, posted bail, and went about his day.
Reports vary about the extent of Rihanna's injuries. I'm hearing everything that says she's fine (considering) to saying she looks like the game over screen in
Street Fighter II. It's hard to get anything solid in the world of gossip blogs, but OK! Magazine says THAT TMZ SAYS that OFFICIALS SAY *deep breath* that she suffered a bloody nose and lip in addition to two contusions that swelled up her forehead (I'll leave the joke alone...), and bite wounds (?). C'mon Chris... you had to Mike Tyson the bitch, too?
Brown recently released this statement:

Homeboy is fuckin' up his paper. Wrigley has stopped airing those annoying ass Double Mint gum ads featuring the douche, although that's actually a good thing because I personally boycotted that crap purely because of him. But more importantly, this totally dampens his appeal. Parents won't want their daughters listening to a guy who tiger uppercuts defenseless women.
There are two sides to every story, so I'll wait to hear Chris' point of view. Rihanna had to have done SOMETHING to get that dirt done to her LOL. I don't condone this type of behavior, but I'll agree with it if RiRi was completely out of pocket. I've heard stories of giving him herpes, but I haven't found anything concrete.
Brown is due in court in March.
