Looking around the page, you've probably noticed that I love to write.
When the site started in 1998, the only source of content was my pokémon fanfic. It sucked (hey, I was 12 lol), but that's where I got my feet wet with writing stuff in my free time. Over the years, I think my skills with writing have increased to a level to where I've started to suck at other things like Math due to my brain being so focused on English... Because even going back to Middle and High School, I was always in advanced English classes despite my hatred for reading those lame, old books they deem as "American Classics".. Blah..
Although when essay time rolled around, boy, did I get excited lol. Most people find writing an absolute pain, but I find it so incredibly easy that I can purposely bull shit an entire assignment and make it seem like I know what the hell I'm talking about. I can't remember an essay I didn't wait until the last minute to complete because I can write so fast thanks to my side work on the site through out the years. Practice makes perfect :)
Even though I liked creative writing, I never really tried to be on the newspaper or yearbook staff in HS. I took a Journalism class during my freshman year, and while I enjoyed it for the most part, I hate that style of writing. It's beyond too restrictive for my tastes and, as you probably know, I cuss a lot and write long articles lol. Trying to be terse while talking about something is not my strong point. I figured I'd just leave all that mess alone and do whatever I please on my own web page.
This section has no real topic or theme. It's just where all the other articles go that don't fit anywhere else. That's not a bad thing, since the range of topics will insure that there's something for everyone to find interesting. This is also the only section I'll take submissions from people for, too. So if you want your 15 minutes of fame on paq-land, write a article of decent length (please, no 2 paragraph pieces of shit..) and make sure it's decently proofread (I don't expect perfection, but please try your best to fix errors before sending) and shoot it over to my inbox at paqland@gmail.com.
Leave any general comments or suggestions below, please.
