The house mates walk into the living room and find a bunch of sleeping bags and camping equipment. Ashley L. finds a letter addressed to them (..Tyra Mail?) saying they're going off camping for the weekend in North Carolina.

I thought they were a tad too excited for some lame ass camping shit. I bet they thought they were going on some Real World type trip to France or something. Psssh, this is BET lol. Two states over is all they can afford -- I mean, seriously, if the network is too lazy to upgrade their cameras to High Definition and insist on filming their standard def. shit with cams that look like they're from 1995, what makes you think they'll shell out the scrilla for a "real" trip? Oh, my bad, am I ranting?

Anyways...

My future wifey, Ashley R., is cleaning up the kitchen before they leave and finds a fake rat under the sink. The following five or so minutes of my life were wasted on them playing pranks on each other with some dollar store fuzz ball. The producers have to be running out of ideas to kill time, but I have to say seeing Dorion freak out after finding a fake rat in his suitcase was quite entertaining.

The crew finally arrives at Camp Nantahala and meet up with their camp director, Charles. He explains a few things about the site, but the funny thing was when he told the group about the absurd amount of wild bears roaming around. The looks on their faces was priceless.

When nightfall came, they all hiked to the nearest pub to get something to eat. However, when they walked in they quickly realized they were the only Black people in the joint. Hrm, I'd imagine so -- my race usually doesn't hang out in the mountains and shit like it's normal lol. I think the editing on this was done in a way to play up racial tension, though. They made it seem like they were getting odd looks, but shit, if you really think about it, 8 mother fuckers with a whole camera crew following them is attention grabbing no matter what race you are.

The girls aren't feeling the atmosphere, so they go up to the balcony to enjoy the moon light. This eventually turns into this uber-deep (not to mention sappy) conversation that the boys join in on life and relationships. WTF? Dennis did reveal he was adopted, though -- for those of you keeping score at home. This then morphs into a convo on how Shavon got raped in church as a little kid and had a rough upbringing.

After that chit-chat about real shit, they gather around the campfire to play a question game Anthony made up. Some of the questions, for example, were like "who do you see hooking up in the house?" or "who would you like to keep as a life-long friend?". Some highlights of the game include Dorion saying he'd kill everyone in the house to save his life (SAVAGE! lol), Ashley R. thinking Ashley L. and Dennis will hook up, everyone hating on Dru's candy ass, and Anthony admitting he has a crush on Sira.

Shortly after that though, gunshots are heard in echoing throughout the forest. The crew thinks it's race related and the white folks are trying to scare them. My money is on the gunshots coming from Smokey The Nigger Hating Bear.
